The website claims that they are the ‘undisputed party central for Bangkok’ and after the Bangkok Deals went to check out it we have to agree! Walking into Q Bar feels like you have left Thailand and walked into one of New York’s High Class Clubs! The club is simply stunning, the decor fits everything perfect, the lighting is designed to make everyone look great and the lay out is perfect for a club that also allows people a good opportunity to sit, talk and enjoy a night with friends! The chairs and seating is in a 50′s or 60′s style, from the New Year Era when style and class was all about the look!
Q Bar boasts a number of famous international DJ’s, some of which include;
- Oliver Stone
- Michelle Yeoh
- Eric Cantona
- Matt Dillon
Along with a massive line up of local talent that make the girls and guys go wild on the dance floor!
While Q Bar is a great Nightclub / Bar, if you head out there early enough they also serve up some amazing food by chefs that really seem like they should be in world class restaurants, but Q Bar has them and its all the better because there is nothing people need more then a good meal before a big night out! Thai Girls enjoy Q Bar because the westerns that go are generally Expats that are living in Bangkok, or people who travel there often for business and reasons such as that. Girls in Q Bar are some of the most attractive that can be found in Bangkok, and they don’t seem to have any more attitude then what you may expect to find in a high class Go-Go.
Q Bar will also have many different events used to attract a large crowd. Be ready to watch some live bands play some hot tunes, or if your a bit hot one night you can check out Q Bars Foam Parties and join big groups in dancing while you get sprayed with Water or Foam! Q Bar does get very busy and they have been known to deny entry due to safety reasons which is rather uncommon in Bangkok but this does go to show how much the owners and staff care about there customers!
Q Bar does have a dress code and its important to ensure you are looking good! Jeans and a collar T-Shirt is usually fine, but most people do wear button ups and some even wear a full suit! Drinks are well priced and are very strong! Its clear the staff do not worry about using Alcohol – a big difference to many bars and clubs in Bangkok that try to ‘skimp’ on the amount of Alcohol used.
All of these points really do make Q Bar one of a kind, and a place people would be sorry they didn’t check out!
