Soi Cowboy, Bangkok is probably the smallest of all the red light districts in Bangkok, this is not to say that Soi Cowboy does not have its merit, in fact Soi Cowboy packs in more fun then Nana Plaza on most nights, this could be a combination of the owners working in tandem in joint ventures for Soi Cowboy, it could be that better looking girls get employed there or it could be because most the bars there have great happy hours specials! What ever the reason, Soi Cowboy is a great location to meet beautiful bar girls, drink to your hearts content and enjoy Bangkok for all the red light features it has.
Soi Cowboy can be easily found as it runs parallel to Sukhumvit Road it is easily identifiable with the flashing lights, it is in between Sukhumvit Soi 23 and Sukhumvit Soi 21 (Asoke Road). So Cowboy is definitely one of Bangkok’s prime night life area’s for tourists!
Just jump into any Tuk-Tuk or Taxi you see, ask the driver to take you to Soi Cowboy and you will find it in no time as its such a popular venue, every driver has bee asked to go there at least once. If you intend on spending a lot of time out at Soi Cowboy, you will find there are many great hotels and resorts with in walking distance, this can be a great saving as taxi rides to add up. If you are on a shoe string budget but would still like to get out there and have a look, you can jump onto the Skyrail and get off at Asoke Station or use the newly opened Bangkok Subway System (MRT) and get off at the Sukhumvit Station, both options then entail a 2 to 3 minute walk to Soi Cowboy.
